“Pay Me My Money” — Singer, Portable Stirs Reactions As He Calls Out One of His Debtors

The fast-rising Nigerian Afropop singer, songwriter, rapper, brand ambassador, and social media influencer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable or Werey Olorin, the idamu adugbo has caused reactions on social media after calling out one of his debtors using his official Instagram page.

Portable is currently one of the trending Nigerian singers. He became popular about six months ago after meeting one of the popular Nigerian rappers, Olamide Baddo. However, Portable didn’t mention the name of the person that own him money but some people suggested in the comments section that it might be APC that he campaigned for during the last Osun State Governorship election.

Uche Maduagwu Drags Singers, Psquare After they Released their New Song.

Nigerian brand influencer, Uche Maduagwu, has taken to social media to criticize Nigerian veteran singers, Psquare, following their new single which they produced together, few days ago.

Recall that Nigerian afro beat singers, Psquare, had few days ago, released their new single, “Jaiye”, as the song generated a lot of reactions from Nigerians on social media platforms.

The singers have received both congratulatory messages and criticisms from Nigerians, following the release of the song after years of being apart.

Uche Maduagwu in criticizing the song of Psquare, opined that a collaboration with their colleagues, Davido and Burna Boy, would have put them on a global map, adding that the essence of their come back in the industry is to overtake their colleagues with new songs.

Uche Maduagwu finally advised them to get a new Public Relations (PR) manager, because their new song still sound like what they did 10 years ago, as he asked them if they do not know that the music industry has changed ever since they broke up as a music team.

The Founder and the Senior Pastor of Household of God Church, Rev. Chris Okotie, has warned that the Independent National Elections Commission, INEC, is playing with fire if his party, Fresh Democratic Party, FDP, is denied the chance of contesting for the 2015 presidential elections.

Rev. Okotie, a former music star who is also the leader and presidential candidate of the party, is not happy that despite the fact that a Federal High court in Abuja, the nation’s capital, had rule that INEC should re-register his party after it was de-registered, the election body has refused to comply with the court directives.

Okotie, who has insisted that God told him to contest every election, therefore told INEC that if he is not allowed to run, then there will be trouble in country.

We pray INEC should do the right thing on God’s anointed so that the wrath of God does not fall on Nigeria.

Bola Okoro,the friend of the lady who claimed she was raped by Obesere has come out to tell her own side of the story.‬

‪She told newsmen during a press conference in Oyo that the lady was lying and she introduced her to the musician and the accuser whose real name is Morenike Kikelomo and not Olanike Olaiya that she’s widely been referred to told her she was going to blackmail the musician‬

‪“I warned her not to try such a thing and I thought she had taken to my advice. Obesere is my business partner and I introduced Olanike to him in order for him to help her with her business without knowing that she had another plan to malign him.

She was with Obesere on Tuesday and called me that she would be coming to Ibadan to check on her child on Wednesday, but I told her to wait; that I was also coming to Lagos for a meeting, and she came to meet me at that meeting. I was not aware that anything was wrong with her until we got to Ibadan, but I was surprised when Obesere called me that Olanike said she was bleeding that I should take her to the hospital,…..‬

‪When I inquired about what was wrong, she told me that if I needed money, I should support her plan to collect N10 million from Obesere, but I refused.‬

‪“I told her that I would never be part of that plan before she proceeded to Lagos and reported the alleged abuse at Okota Police Station.

She had been abandoned by her parents because of her waywardness before I took up her responsibility.

“I have known Alhaji Obesere for over 12 years and he is a responsible, kind-hearted individual who cannot hurt a fly. I wonder why he would stoop so low as to rape or use a girl for ritual when so many girls are out there who want to have him,”‬

Davido Confirms Skelewu Album Release [17/03/2014)

Popular musician Davido has announced the
release date for his Skelewu album.

The Nigerian American singer said and
confirmed that the album will be released in
the United Kingdom, on the 17th of March
2014 (17/03/14).

The confirmation came during a live television
show in the UK where he is currently touring.
No information was however provided on
when the album will be available in Nigeria.

WhatsApp Is Down, Facebook’s New Acquisition Confirms Server Issues

WhatsApp is currently experiencing an outage. Users around the world are reporting that they can’t send messages, and WhatsApp just confirmed this problems with a tweet stating “sorry we currently experiencing server issues. we hope to be back up and recovered shortly.”

WhatsApp users are flocking to Twitter with memes joking that Facebook is shutting WhatsApp down. In reality, it’s more likely that its $19 billion acquisition by Facebook led to a surge of signups and usage that has overloaded its servers. We’ve contacted Facebook and are awaiting a response.

When users (including me) try to send messages or check their existing chat conversations, WhatsApp gets stuck, showing an endless loading asterisk and the alert “Connecting…”
